Austrian laptop musician C.A. Sinclair (also releasing under his project name SSH Visor) composed the pieces that make up Snapshots on a holiday in the Austrian countryside using exclusively a software called HighC, which emulates/simulates Iannis Xenakis's UPIC device. These 23 semi-abstract electronic miniatures, drawing equally from ambient, glitch and early electropop are meant to evoke quick impressions of landscapes. The mixes are all monaural due to software limitations.
